The women I work with have so many definitions of eroticism and the role of an orgasm. Each one of those definitions adds insight to the powerful aspects of sexuality in a woman’s life.
One woman we interviewed, Gudrun, said: “For me, orgasms can be very different. Sometimes they are gentle like a wave in the sea rolling over me, other times they are hot and my whole body vibrates. Sometimes I have the feeling of getting higher and higher and before I reach the highest point I’m already there and it’s a gentle orgasm. It’s like a big foamy wave that breaks a little early and dissipates pleasantly but without crashing.”
